Remember: Miller wrote The Crucible in the Modernism period. We cannot use it to describe the writing style of the Puritan/Pilgrim period - only as a means to discuss the culture of the Puritans.
Slide 10 presents some confusion as Bradstreet is discussed and cited, but "Of Plymouth Plantation" is also mentioned but not cited.
